AeJay is a graphic designer from Iowa. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and a minor in User Experience Design as of May 2026. With experimentation and curiosity for design, AeJay emphasizes research, exploration and refinement to each project.

He collaborates within the working design industry, with work spanning across branding, visual identity, posters, editorial, web & digital design.

His work has been selected for and received multiple awards and recognitions, including GDUSA Student to Watch, Midwestern Graphic Design Biennial, UCDA Design Awards, Art Director’s Association of Iowa, Flux National Student Design Competition, among others.

DESCRIPTION
The Anura perfume brand explored how to conceptualize an idea through rapid image-making or iconography illustration, combing these illustrations, and creating a combination mark that represents a brand of our choosing. The project involved pushing past boundaries and learning the exhaustive process of design and how to view design from different perspectives. 

This sophomore project focused on establishing a high-end brand that commercializes in perfume. The use of color, mockups, and presentation was an important aspect in effectively communicating the brand and its identity.
