DESCRIPTION
This booklet brings together a collection of short stories connected through the recurring presence of insects, using them as a lens to explore deeply human themes and experiences. Although bugs appear differently throughout each narrative, their presence creates an unexpected connection between the insect world and ideas surrounding human behavior, emotion, relationships, and identity.
The design builds on this sense of discovery through an interactive color-decoding system that conceals and reveals information throughout the publication. Hidden titles, imagery, and messages emerge as readers use the decoder, encouraging them to look beyond what is immediately visible. This interaction mirrors the layered nature of the stories themselves, where deeper meanings gradually surface through closer observation.
By combining editorial design, storytelling, and physical interaction, the booklet transforms reading into an experience of discovery, inviting readers to uncover the subtle connections between insects, people, and the stories they share.
