DESCRIPTION
Entomo is a personal packaging project that explores the visual language and information systems of commercial beverage design. Centered around a conceptual alcoholic drink,
the project examines how typography, imagery, hierarchy, and product information can work together across a series of cans while experimenting with a bold, brutalist-inspired visual identity.
Rather than following the more familiar conventions of alcoholic beverage branding, Entomo embraces an intentionally raw and playful approach. Bold typography, unconventional compositions, and expressive imagery give the packaging a distinct personality while maintaining the structure and clarity needed for a recognizable consumer product.
The name Entomo is derived from entomology, the study of insects, and plays on the idea of getting a “buzz.” Insects and other buzzing creatures become recurring visual motifs throughout the packaging, creating a playful connection between the natural world and the social experience associated with drinking. As the designs progress, increasingly expressive compositions suggest a heightened and shifting sense of perception, mirroring how a person might become more animated, uninhibited, or visually disoriented over time.
Entomo uses packaging as a space for experimentation, bringing together brutalist design, humor, and conceptual storytelling to create a beverage identity that feels unconventional, energetic, and slightly chaotic.
